Kiwi ("we", "us") is a real-estate operations assistant. This policy covers this website, the contact form, and the Kiwi web application.
1. What we collect on this site
- Contact form: your name, email, brokerage or team, market, and the question or workflow you submit. We use this information to reply and understand customer requirements.
- Cookies and tracking: this site sets no cookies and runs no advertising or cross-site tracking. This policy will be updated before analytics are added.
2. How we use it
To answer you, to schedule a walkthrough of your workflow, and to send occasional updates about Kiwi. Opt out anytime by replying "unsubscribe" to any email from us.
3. Sharing
We do not sell your information. Form submissions are delivered to our team inbox through a form-relay provider, which processes them solely to deliver the message. We share information beyond that only if required by law.
4. If your team uses Kiwi
Kiwi stores your account details, team configuration, activity records, and connected credentials. Credentials are encrypted at rest and isolated by team. Messages may be processed by our AI provider, Anthropic, only to route and perform the work your team requests. We do not sell your data or use one team's data for another team. Every client-facing action requires team approval.
5. Google account data
If your workspace owner connects Gmail, Kiwi asks for exactly https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.modify. This permission lets the connected credential read, compose, send, label, and trash mail in that Gmail mailbox, except that it does not permit immediate permanent deletion that bypasses Trash. It does not grant Kiwi access to Google Calendar, Google Drive, Gmail settings, or any other Google product.
How Kiwi uses Gmail. In the background, Kiwi queries unread mail separately for the email addresses registered to your Kiwi workspace, fetches only matching messages, rechecks the parsed sender, and marks accepted team messages as read so they are not processed twice. When a workspace owner or approver explicitly asks Kiwi to check the connected inbox, Kiwi retrieves up to five recent inbox messages without changing their read state. An owner or approver can request a reply draft; Kiwi shows the exact draft and sends it in the original Gmail thread only after the owner or approver submits the approval code. We recommend a dedicated transaction mailbox for the least exposure.
No silently bundled Google products. Connecting Gmail does not connect Calendar or Drive. Those appear as separate guided pilots in Kiwi 1.0 and receive no Google permission through the Gmail button.
How Google data is handled. The Gmail refresh credential is encrypted at rest, access-restricted, and isolated to your workspace. Gmail-derived operational records and files remain in your workspace and follow its retention, export, and deletion controls. We do not sell Google user data, use it for advertising, use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models, or use one customer's data for another customer. Content needed to perform a request may be processed by the commercial AI provider named in Kiwi's current privacy notice solely to perform that request under the disclosed data terms.
Human access. Kiwi staff do not read Google user data in normal operation. Limited human access may occur only with your explicit permission for support, when necessary to protect security or investigate abuse, or when legally required.
Limited Use. Kiwi's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Disconnecting and deletion. A workspace owner can disconnect Gmail in Kiwi Setup at any time. Kiwi asks Google to revoke the grant and then permanently removes its stored refresh credential. You can also revoke Kiwi directly at Google Account third-party access. Workspace deletion removes Gmail-derived customer data under the retention, deletion-ledger, and encrypted-backup policy described elsewhere in this notice. Contact hello@kiwihomeagent.com for help.
6. Retention & your rights
We keep contact-form submissions while they're relevant to answering you. You can ask us to show, correct, or delete what we hold about you at any time, including rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we'll act within 30 days.
